The Golden Triangle is a very prominent tourist route that takes you around the beautiful and historic cities of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. All these cities boast massive forts, bustling bazaars, magnificent palaces, and much more. Through this tour, you will get to see the world’s best architecture, from the Qutub Minar in Delhi to the Taj Mahal in Agra and, of course, the Hawa Mahal in Jaipur. Acting as a classic introduction to India, this trip will make you learn about India, its history, and its culture, and it will also guide you to other places to visit in India.
Day 1 |
Arrive in Delhi, the capital of IndiaAfter a pleasant flight journey, our tour representatives will welcome you to Delhi Airport. They will then take you to your hotel and ensure a smooth check-in. You will have the day to yourself, and you will be free to explore the city on your own. |
Day 2 |
Explore DelhiAfter having breakfast in your hotel, your tour guides will take you to explore the large capital city of India. Your sightseeing will include the most prominent places in Delhi, which you should not miss while you are in the city. Raj Ghat is a memorial built in memory of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Surrounded by lawns on both sides, the area leads towards the eternal flame kept at the site of cremation. Built by Shah Jahan, the Red Fort is a red sandstone structure from which the Prime Minister of India delivers the Independence Day speech every year. The largest mosque in Asia, Jama Masjid, was also built by Shah Jahan. The minaret, arched gateways, and domes will leave you stunned! India Gate is a war memorial that is devoted to the soldiers who lost their lives in the First and third world wars. Situated on Rajpath, the Republic Day celebrations happen here every year. The other destinations would be the exceptional Qutab Minar and the stunning Lotus Temple. |
Day 3 |
Drive from Delhi to AgraAfter having breakfast, you will leave for Agra in a spacious and comfortable vehicle. Agra houses the majestic Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri. The first destination in Agra would be the magnificent Taj Mahal. The Agra Fort stands at a distance of two and a half kilometers from the majestic Taj Mahal. Both of these places hold a very significant position in the history of India. Created by the Mughals, you will be guided through the history and importance of both these places to be visited in India the guides. |
Day 4 |
Drive from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri to JaipurAfter having an early breakfast on day four, you will leave to drive toward Jaipur and make two stops at Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri. Your first halt will be at the magnificent and ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri. After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, you will make a second halt at Abhaneri, a small village in northern Rajasthan. Then, you will have a sumptuous lunch, and you will continue your journey to Jaipur. After reaching the land of Rajput kings, you will have the entire evening to yourself. |
Day 5 |
Explore the beauty of JaipurPost-breakfast, you will begin your day's schedule by visiting the magnificent Amer Fort. The Amber Fort is among the top places to visit in India and was once the capital of Jaipur. After visiting the Amer Fort, you will be guided toward the City Palace, which exhibits an excellent fusion of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Your third stop for the day would be Jantar Mantar. It is a very important astronomical observation site built in the 18th century. The next stop for sightseeing would be the beautiful Hawa Mahal. Made from pink and red sandstone, the whole structure is a high-screen wall. After exploring all these places, you can relax and shop your heart out in the beautiful bazaars of Jaipur, the Pink City. In the evening, you will visit the Birla temple and learn more about the religious life of Jaipur. |
Day 6 |
Drive back to DelhiIn the early morning, you will leave for Jhalana Safari Park to spot some leopards. After the safari, you will come back to the hotel for breakfast. Then, you will proceed to a village in Sanganer to see the traditional tie and dye, bandhani, block printing, and other handicrafts of Rajasthan. Giving you an insight into the work, this village is among the places to visit in India. After lunch, you will begin your drive toward Delhi. Your tour guides will help you check in, and then you can relax in your hotel. |
Day 7 |
Departure from DelhiAfter having breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and explore a beautiful tomb in Delhi. You will then visit the iconic Humayun's tomb and explore the history of this Mughal structure constructed by the orders of Hamida Banu Begum in memory of her late husband, Humayun. Later, your tour guide will take you to the airport, where you can say goodbye to this memorable trip to India.
