ITINERARY - 12 Days

Day 1

Arrive in Delhi

Arrive at Delhi, the city that holds extensive history in its arms and that has been India's capital long before India was the country that it is now. Delhi is an amalgamation of Mughal and British architecture, both beautiful and containing a story of their own.

After relaxing, the tourists will visit Birla Temple in the evening. Also known as Laxminarayan Temple, it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple offers bewitching views of fountains, shrines, and sculptures that showcase the Hindu religion.

Day 2

Delhi Sightseeing

The day is dedicated to sightseeing and marveling at the historical heritage of Delhi.

Tourists will visit Raj Ghat, the memorial place for Mahatma Gandhi. The tall walls of Red Fort will humble onlookers and remind them of the grandeur of the Mughal Dynasty. We will also visit the largest mosque in Asia, Jama Masjid, built by Shah Jahan. It is a dazzling work of art. Built and decorated in typical Persian and Mughal architecture, the mosque is a treat to the eyes.

We will reach Humayun's Tomb after traveling through Old Delhi. The dome that adorns the tomb is pure perfection, and the garden squares add to its beauty. The tourists can visit the beautiful Lotus Temple, which has the architecture of a lotus, and Rashtrapati Bhavan, the residence of the President of India, built by Lord Mountbatten.

After this, tourists will move on to the most recently built temple in Delhi, Akshardham Palace. The temple is a splendid structure that displays the 10,000-year-old history of India in all its facets. The tourists can also enjoy a boat ride around the temple and appreciate its grandeur.

Day 3

Delhi to Agra Road Trip

Visit the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and devotion, the signature of Mughal opulence, and the monument that is arguably the most famous in the world. The tomb built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, on the banks of the Yamuna River, leaves people speechless with the pure emotion one feels in its walls.

Then comes the famous Agra Fort. The red stone monument was built by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar. The Tomb of Itmad ud-Daulah, built by the Mughal empress Noor Jehan, wife of Jehangir, is sometimes called Baby Taj for its resemblance to the Taj Mahal. Noor Jehan built the tomb in memory of her father, Itmad-ud-Daulah, with white marble.

Day 4

Agra to Fatehpur Sikri to Jaipur

After breakfast, the tourists will drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the dream city of Akbar. Get a glimpse of the Bulanda Darwaza, which was built by Akbar as a monument of unity and is the largest gateway in the world.

Once this experience is done, we will then move onward to Jaipur. Also known as Pink City for the color of its buildings, Jaipur was one of the first planned cities in India. The capital city of Rajasthan is a blend of ancient palaces and modern architecture.

In the evening, we will visit the Birla temple in Jaipur. The timing of the visit will coincide with the time of evening Aarti, when lamps are burned to invoke and please Laxmi and Narayan, the goddess and god of wealth and luxury.

Day 5

Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, the tourists will explore the historical wonders of the city.

Amber Fort, by Makoto Lake, is almost 700 years old. Once you enter the palace, the beauty of the blends of Hindu and Mughal architecture and the clever use of redstone and white marble will leave you spellbound.

Then, we will visit the City Palace, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II. The palace is a broad mix of buildings that exhibit Hindu and Mughal architecture. The Mubarak Mahal and Maharani Mahal now host a museum of weapons, clothes of past kings, and, among them, the history of India. The city palace is home to the last existing royal family in the present day. Explore the ancient astronomical observatory, Jantar Mantar, built by Jai Singh II.

After this, Hawa Mahal, which was built by Sawai Pratap Singh as a summer retreat, The palace resembles the crown of Lord Krishna because of its jharokhas. The unique architecture of the palace attracts tourists from all over the world.

Day 6

Jaipur to Delhi

After breakfast, we will travel to Delhi, where you can relax or spend your evening in the bustling capital.

Day 7

Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh

The Golden Triangle tour precedes the yoga tour of India. For this, one must go to the place that is the center of yoga: Rishikesh. In the morning, the tourists will travel to Haridwar. Once you reach Haridwar, a representative will board you on a train to Rishikesh.

Once the tourists reach Rishikesh, they can register for a yoga program in the ashram. One can lighten up after the heavy traveling in the evening.

Day 8

Yoga session and Rishikesh tour

After the hustle of continuous traveling and sightseeing, one must find a retreat to refresh their body and find peace of mind. Yoga, in the small hours of dawn, purifies the body of all toxins and will rejuvenate you from the inside out.

After the morning yoga session, one can go sightseeing at Ram Lakshman Jhula, Raghunath Mandir, or for a stroll along the banks of the Ganga.

In the evening, retreat back to the hotel for another yoga therapy session.
