ITINERARY - 9 Days
Day 1

Arrival to the Kasane Airport

On the first day of the Botswana safari, you will arrive in the country and be picked up by one of our representatives. From Kasane Airport, you will be transferred by us to a hotel or a lodge. This lodge will be situated close to the Chobe River. This way, we make sure you have a natural experience from your first day. We recommend that you rest on your first day in the lodge while enjoying its various perks.

Day 2

Trip through the Chobe River

This is when the real fun begins on the Botswana safari. On the second day of your tour, you will have many exciting things to do. In the early morning, you can go for a game drive in the Chobe National Park, which is one of the oldest natural parks in Botswana. Here you can experience the wilderness of the predators in their true form. You will get a glimpse at large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and many more animals at the Chobe Riverfront. In the evening, you can go on the world-famous boat cruise of Chobe National Park. About 450 species of birds can be spotted around the park. So if you are interested in birdwatching, do not miss this opportunity.

Day 3

Enjoy natural scenery at the Okavango Delta

In the early morning on Day 3, after you have finished your breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kasane Airport. This will end your tour at Chobe National Park. From the airport, you will be seated on a chartered flight. This flight will drop you off in the Okavango Delta. From there, you will be transferred to your tent camp. You can enjoy the scenery and views around you all along the ride and at the camp. The tents are located in such places that you can enjoy a great deal of the wildlife of the Botswana safari from them.

Day 4

Game drives along with water activities

On day 4, you will have two game drives in private concessions. One in the daytime and the other at night. You can also enjoy the African horseback safaris around here. You can also go off track with your guide accompanying you. You will also have a tracker to help you not lose yourself in the tracks. Game walks are also offered on this day. Other activities, such as Mokoro canoeing, are included on Day 4.

Day 5

Moremi Game Reserve

In the morning, you will have your breakfast and other morning activities. After that, you will take a chartered flight again to another lodge in the Okavango Delta. The specialty of this lodge will be that it will allow you to take part in true water-based activities at the Okavango Delta. After you arrive at the lodge, you will have time to settle in and relax. In the evening, you can experience one of the most beautiful sunsets while relaxing on the deck.

Day 6

Chief's Island and Mokoro canoe

After having experienced nature in your tents, you will wake up thrilled on the sixth morning of your tour. We will provide you with many activities on this day. The day will be fully packed with boat cruises, fishing, and other activities. One of the highlights of the Botswana safari will be the walk on the Chief’s Island. Other water activities, such as Mokoro, will keep you engaged for the whole day. In the evening, you can go back to your tents and have a wonderful night.

Day 7

Central Kalahari Game Reserve

After an amazing day and a wonderful night, you wake up on the 7th day of your tour. You will have your breakfast and morning activities in your tent. Next, you will be transferred to the airstrip and put on a plane. This aircraft will take you to Maun. From there, you will fly out to Makgadikgadi. Then you will be transferred to your lodge, which will be your final accommodation for the next two days. Upon your arrival at the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR), you will find various kinds of wildlife around you. You can spend your night doing activities such as stargazing.

Day 8

Deception Valley

Plenty of activities will wait for you on Day 8. The day trip to Deception Valley will be one of your most memorable moments of the Botswana safari. You can go for nature walks with Bushman trackers. Exciting game drives are also provided for an adventurous day. The game drive at Makgadikgadi Pans National Park is one of the best parts of the day. You will spot many mammals, such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and others, on the drives.

Day 9

Departure

After your breakfast, you can opt for your morning game walk. After this, you will be transferred back to the airstrip and take your chartered flight to Maun Airport. This will mark the end of a beautiful and exhilarating 9-day Botswana safari.
