On the high Altiplano beneath the perfect cone of Nevado Sajama (6,542 m), Bolivia's oldest park is a world of vicuñas grazing the puna, flamingos on the lagoons, viscachas in the rocks, Andean birds, and the highest-growing queñua woodlands on earth — with thermal springs and vast volcanic scenery.
