Taman Negara is among the oldest rainforests on the planet — a 130-million-year-old forest of giant trees, canopy walkways and jungle rivers.
At the heart of the peninsula, Taman Negara is rainforest of almost unimaginable age, predating the Amazon. Visitors walk one of the world's longest canopy walkways, take night walks and river trips, and bird a rich lowland list. Tiger, elephant and tapir live here but are seldom seen — the forest itself, ancient and vast, is the experience.
