On the rolling steppe near Ulaanbaatar, Hustai National Park is the great success story of the Przewalski's horse (takhi) — the only truly wild horse on earth, brought back from extinction in the wild and now thriving here. At dawn and dusk, harems graze the hills alongside red deer, marmots, gazelles and steppe eagles.
