Trek with rangers to a habituated mountain gorilla family and spend a permitted hour in their presence, deep in the forest.
A second gorilla trek to a different family, or forest birding and a community walk for the Albertine Rift specials.
Transfer to Entebbe and settle in, with time to get your bearings. Arrive at Entebbe on Lake Victoria and settle in — the gateway to the trip.
A final morning in onward — a last outing or a slow start as time allows — before the transfer onward and the journey home.
